Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA)

What is a CPPA?

The Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) is a long-term purchase contract between a green energy producer and a company, an energy consumer.

It allows the latter to source renewable electricity from a production site that can be different from the consumption site. This contract guarantees the supply of renewable electricity at a fixed price agreed upon in advance between the buyer and the electricity producer for a specified period. It directly binds both parties, offering contractual stability.

Increasingly adopted in Europe as a renewable and decarbonized electricity supply solution with guarantees of local origin.

Different types of CPPAs adapt to your needs.

Off-site CPPA

Producer and Consumer agree in advance on a guaranteed long-term electricity purchase price as well as a volume of guarantees of origin (GOs).

The agreed price includes the supply of GOs. The Producer sells the electricity produced by a decentralized photovoltaic park in the territory to the Consumer, which then transits through the public electricity grid.

The Consumer can remain supplied by their current Electricity Supplier, who integrates these volumes of renewable electricity into their consumption and provides the additional electricity needed to cover their total consumption (residual volume).

On-site CPPA

Producer and Consumer agree in advance on a guaranteed long-term electricity purchase price.

The Producer builds and operates a photovoltaic plant on the site (or in direct proximity) of the Consumer and connects it to their private electricity network.

The Producer thus directly sells and delivers electricity to the Consumer without any intermediary.

The Consumer can remain supplied by their current Electricity Supplier, who provides the additional electricity needed to cover their total consumption (residual volume).

Our expertise for
a competitive offer

Technical expertise is at the heart of our projects, which incorporate the latest sector innovations and meet the highest quality standards. As a General Contractor Constructor, we internally manage all the necessary steps to build a photovoltaic plant, whether it is ground-based, on water, on building rooftops, or parking canopies.

All our PPA offers are based on our own assets! We thus control their quality and monitoring, notably through our supervision center, which manages the production of our park in real time and schedules interventions by our maintenance teams in the field. This synergy allows us great responsiveness to meet supply demands and optimize production!

Our presence throughout the territory, with more than 700 solar plants in operation, gives us significant resource potential for tailor-made offers for each of our clients.

Why a CPPA?

A CPPA is a supply solution that allows you to free yourself from market price fluctuations. Signing a CPPA ensures a volume of renewable electricity sold at a fixed price for a given period.

This type of contract offers many advantages:

SECURING

your energy supply in the long term, especially since all our PPAs are based on energy produced by our own assets.

GUARANTEEING

the purchase price in the long term, protecting against energy price volatility.

CONSUMING

certified renewable energy (local Guarantees of Origin).

PREPARING

for the energy independence of your sites.

VALUING

your CSR commitment by making you an active participant in the energy transition.
