Discovering the role of a Drafter in solar energy
The Drafter’s primary mission is to design, calculate, and produce study and construction plans for photovoltaic generators, ensuring the precise and compliant implementation of solar installations while contributing to the efficiency and sustainability of projects.
What are the daily responsibilities? (non-exhaustive list):
The Drafter’s main role is to produce technical design documents for photovoltaic generators in compliance with technical, regulatory, and urban planning constraints. Working in synergy with the construction team, study managers, and the sales team, their responsibilities include:
- Creating plans for each lot/trade and the associated nomenclature.
- Producing calculation notes related to the installation.
- Developing electrical diagrams in accordance with current standards and company practices.
- Adapting technical documents to the various phases of the project’s lifecycle.
- Delivering technical outputs.
- Providing regular reporting using established tools.
Responsibilities related to implementing the quality and environmental management system:
- Applying the company’s Quality-Environment Policy and contributing to continuous improvement.
- Communicating and promoting best practices.
- Contributing to achieving defined quality and environmental objectives.
