The Project Finance Analyst negotiates and implements financing and investment solutions for the group’s projects. With a cross-functional role within the organization, the Analyst interfaces with all departments to present every aspect of a project to financial partners.

What are the daily responsibilities?

The Project Finance Analyst is responsible for developing financing solutions. Acting as an advisor, they must consider timelines, costs, and risks to propose the best financing options. Their tasks are diverse and include:

  • Participating in the organization, structuring, and economic and financial analysis of projects, as well as monitoring operations, including the development of Business Plans.
  • Preparing project presentation files for investor and banking partners.
  • Analyzing financing offers and contracts.
  • Participating in discussions with legal advisors representing fund providers.
  • Monitoring contractual commitments.
  • Tracking and optimizing the financial performance of the solar portfolio.
  • Managing documentation, centralizing information and documents related to activities, and sharing them internally and externally through data rooms.

Responsibilities related to implementing the quality and environmental management system:

  • Applying the company’s Quality-Environment Policy and contributing to continuous improvement.
  • Communicating and promoting best practices.
  • Contributing to achieving defined quality and environmental objectives.
  • Enhancing customer and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Adhering to established processes and procedures.
  • Completing quality and environmental records related to their activities.
  • Identifying, recording, and addressing non-conformities.
  • Participating in waste sorting and environmental protection (e.g., optimizing travel, reducing paper consumption, etc.).

What qualities are required?

While strong knowledge of banking law and structured finance is essential for this role, the Project Finance Analyst must also possess the following skills and qualities:

  • Analytical and synthesis skills.

  • Rigor and attention to detail.

 

The ability to understand complex financial structures and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders is critical to excelling in this position.
