Led by the FUB* and supported by ADEME, the Pro-Bike Employer label recognizes workplaces that implement ambitious pro-bike initiatives.
Encouraging all employees to cycle is a priority for Urbasolar, both for health reasons and to reduce our carbon footprint.
To highlight this commitment, we embarked on the “Objectif Employeur Pro-Vélo” initiative, an Energy Savings Certificate (ESC) program designed to support private, public, and nonprofit employers in fostering a cycling culture at their sites.
Thanks to a customized action plan, numerous initiatives have been implemented: safety training, bike repair workshops, the installation of secure bike racks, repair stations and kits, a bike-sharing program, and more.
Following this process and an audit based on a set of specifications covering five areas (management and strategy, communication and engagement, services, safety, and equipment), Urbasolar achieved SILVER certification!
This result is a true recognition of the work carried out by the teams to positively impact the physical and mental well-being of employees and the environment.
